3. Provide a spare key to your unit and leave all rooms accessible

NOTE: All keys are left in your unit with the door locked once we clear your unit. Be sure to have access to your unit other than the key you provide to avoid locking yourself out.

    My building was fumigated two weeks ago. Now, I have a terrible dead animal smell and Accurate will not respond to my phone calls.

    The possibility that fumigation will kill animals under the building should have been considered, and if animals could not be removed before the fumigation, then they should be after they’ve died.

    The lack of response from Accurate, inspite of numerous phone calls by me, Powerstone, and board members is a terrible reflection on this company’s customer service.

    They should have to spend the night in my unit until the smell is gone! Accurate, please get out to 16867 Bluewater Lane and remove the dead animals!

      Hi Jerry, I’m so sorry about the delay. We did inform community management of the possibility of animals in the building. We also cannot perform services without an approved work order from your HOA, and a tech will be scheduled to address the matter.

      16967 Bluewater is the correct address.

      Carlton came out on Monday and removed a dead possum which was conveniently near the carport grates. I had removed four baby possums over the weekend by another carport grate.

      However, the smell has returned, and I fear that there are more dead animals, possibly not as conveniently located. A camera (or person) needs to inspect under the building both before and after fumigation to prevent this problem.

    Just wanted to verify that plastic bags will be delivered Friday March 8th for units in the 16875 Bluewater Ln building.

    Also, do potted plants inside the unit need to be removed? If so, where can we put them?

      Hey Angela. Bags have been delivered this past Friday. Potted plants are should be removed as you prefer. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have more questions.

        I am aware that the bags were delivered. My question was “where” were the bags delivered to as we do not live at the condo. We plan on being there this weekend to pack up. If at the front door they may not still be there. If so, who can we contact tomorrow to get more bags?

    I only have a gas water heater outside of the condo, near the entrance door to the condo, with no gas pilots inside the condo. Does the gas company still need to enter the condo. Can I place a note on the door to that effect so that I do not need to be there as they only have to light the water heater. I have been asked the same question by my neighbors.

      Hey Stephen, Yes, they do need to complete the inspection to verify that all other appliances are, in fact, not connected to gas lines and that there are no unsealed lines within the home.

    Can you please confirm date of fumigation for 17082. I have to change flights. Will the heavy rains coming next week push back the date of March 15-18 to an April date?

      Hey Lisa. Yes, all fridge and freezer items must be double bagged using only Nylofume bags.

    so you said 15 days before we will recieve bags that should be tomorrow the 18h and we bag we can leave on the kitchen floor?

      Hey Denise. Bags have been delivered this past Friday. Once food items are double bagged, they can be left wherever you prefer.

    Do I have to unlock my storage unit in the carport of my building?

      Hey Mary. Yes, storages must remain unlocked. Items in storage can be transferred into the home since the home will remain locked.

    Question: do you spray after tenting to prevent ants from coming to eat the dead termites?

      Hi Robert. We’ve updated our notes to account for your boxes. Treatment for ants can be done as a separate service from the fumigation. Currently no such service has been requested by your board of directors.

    Hello, it appears no notice has been given that the laundry facilities connected to our unit will be unavailable during the tenting or letting users know that they gas will be dispersed. Seems to be the same for the other family who has a storage unit in their carport which is part of our building. In addition, owners still have not been notified. Do you have insight into what is going on? Also, is there a guarantee that re-infestation is not going to occur? Thank you for your time.

      When will the gas company be out to service gas pilots…same day we can return or ?
      Also do need to be present when they do come to do the service?

        Hey Alex. The gas company will shit off the meter on fumigation day. They will then return to restore your pilot lights from 12pm to 6pm on your scheduled return day. Keep in mind that someone will need to be home during those hours to give them access.
