    Hey Ozzie –
Just wanted to check in and see if we are still good to go back into our units on Thursday after 6pm?

    Please let us know.
    Thank you

    Hello Ozzie –

Do we need to unplug everything from the outlets? Or is it okay to leave things plugged in? You obviously mentioned the fridge can be left on, but I just wanted to make sure nothing else needs to be unplugged from the wall.
    Thank you,

Hey Katie. You don’t have to unplug anything, but I recommend leaving at least one available outlet per room in case crews need to bring in extra fans to ventilate.

Regarding turning off gas to our unit. We are leaving on November 5, 2023. Should we try to turn off gas ourselves from outside the building before we leave, or should we make arrangements with Southern California Gas Company to turn off the gas on November 6, 2023?

    Thank you,

    Joe Zamora

Hey Joe. You do not have to turn your meter off. The gas company will take care of that for you. We already made the appointment.

Sorry to post again, as I didn’t see it in the replies. Dog toys? Best to remove or clean after? Since it goes in their little mouths and possible they ingest pieces…
Also, I saw someone else asked about extra bags, who do we contact about that info and cost?
    Thank you,

Hey Katie. Dog toys can stay as is. No need to clean them afterwards if they were already clean before the fumigation. For extra bags, please email fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com

Will satellite dishes on the roof remain undisturbed or do I need to schedule a call to reset/resintall after the tenting?

I have a satellite dish on the roof. Will your work be disturbing the location? Do I need to arrange a visit from the provider to reset/reinstall?

        Hi Ozzie.
For the doors, will you need access to both front and back? Or will you only need to go through one door? Will this door remain unlocked during the fumigation process? How does that work? You also mentioned needing to be able to open a window in each room. Can we make note of which window we prefer you open? We are also wondering about dog toys, do those need to be removed or cleaned afterwards as they chew on them and sometimes break and ingest pieces?
If I think of anything else I will respond here. Thanks

Hey Katie. We do need access for both units, but only need a key for one or the other. Doors will remain locked during the fumigation. You can indicate your window preference by leaving a note on the window itself. I would leave a large note that said “BROKEN- DO NOT OPEN” on the windows I prefer to keep locked.

Awesome! Thank you. Doug and I are the same unit, #30, so it will just be one key to access both front and back doors. (Back door meaning the hallway)
Just to ask again, dog toys??? Should we remove them or can they just be cleaned afterwards? I obviously do not want the pets to get sick from chewing on them if left inside.
            Thanks so much.

The chat wouldn’t send my questions so I have a few:
    1. Do you have the form for #12?
    2. I just bought a lockbox on Amazon so I will use that instead of leaving key under mat as indicated on the form. I’ll submit the code as soon as I get the box.
    3. I will definitely need more bags. Please let me know how to order more.
    4. Did you say I have to turn off the gas in my unit? I have no idea how to do that.

I think that’s all for now. Thank you!

Hey Grenda. I think you were able to finally get your questions through, but just to be sure…
      1. Your form is in.
      2. Great. We’ll wait for a code.
      3. I’ll have Giselle help us with getting bags ordered for you.
      4. SoCal Gas will be in charge of all gas arrangements for you.

Are factory sealed food products required to be bagged?

    Reply
    • Ozzie Camacho

If it’s factory sealed canned good or factory sealed glass containers, they don’t have to be double bagged. All other items do have to be double bagged.

Contradicting answers given in print and webinar about bagging food vitamins etc in sealed by factory plastic containers. Answer please yes. Or no

    Reply
    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Sheri. Most domestic products in a plastic bottle are okay to leave unbagged if factory sealed. However, I would recommend double bagging them if you have the space. Medicines and supplements should be double bagged regardless.
