Hi – I have one broken side table drawer in my bedroom that is empty. It cracks open a tiny bit. I am concerned that someone might try to force it open further and break the other drawers. Would leaving it cracked just a little be ok?

    Reply
    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Mariza. If you left it open on your own, that would be awesome. Regardless, the guys are being as careful as they can when conducting inspections.

You mentioned that factory sealed glass or metal containers do not need to be bagged, what about factory sealed plastic containers? Do they have to be bagged?

    Reply
    • Ozzie Camacho

Some companies would suggest that factory sealed plastic containers are okay to leave out, but we strongly recommend that you double bag them. Better safe than sorry.

Hello, my name is Rochelle Vincent.
I wanted to let you know I have. a crawl space. I don’t know for sure if I need to have cover shoes. You literally have to get down on your hands and knees to get in there. Do I need to make space for you to get in there to look inside there? I also have a drawer next to my bed, the night table. the drawer on the bottom cannot come out unless you end up breaking it. Do I have to have it open anyway? The only way I can do that is to take the top tour out and place it on the bed There’s nothing in that bottom door other than cable cords There is an attic. next to my bed. Um, it’s up top ceiling. Just turn the little tabs on the top and it’ll open. You’re going to need a ladder. I don’t even know what cover shoes look like. I will open up the crawl space for you. Thank you very much, Rochelle Vincent.

Hi Rochelle. Thanks for the heads up. By law, drawers, cabinets, crawl spaces, and attic covers must be left open for fumigation. Best would be for you to leave those spaces open prior to your departure. If the inspectors has to force anything open we cannot make any reimbursements for resulting damages.

Hi, Just want to confirm that you received my Lock Box code for 680, Unit 2409.
I do not have a traditional door knob,
so the lock box will be secured on the green metal railing that is 5 feet across from my front door.
    Thanks.

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Jon. We do have your code. Having your box at the railing will be fine.

    Hi Ozzie,

I filled the form for unit 1204. I need to share a problem with my car. I’m not in San Diego and will not be back before mid-September. I’m the only insured person to drive the car. I can not have it left opened as the car automatically closes after a short while (this is a safety feature of the car). There is no food nor medicine nor anything that can be eaten or drunk inside the car. Nobody uses the car. I do not want to have the car towed. What do you suggest to do? If needed, I can have an inspection organized before the fumigation. Thanks and regards.

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Gabriel. We wish we could take your word for it, but unfortunately we are still legally mandated to access any vehicles in the building. As far as the auto lock feature, you can disconnect the battery after unlocking it. That way it doesn’t lock up on its own. The other option is to leave the windows down if you are going to leave the battery connected. Vehicle inspections must occur the same day of the fumigation.

The site for the webinar was blocked by my computer as not secure. I tried two desktop browsers and one phone – all with the same result. Can we get all of the pertinent information from the PDF? Can we still get the food storage bags since we could not access the webinar? This is regarding the Rio Del Oro Fumigation.

I’m an out of state owner. I have a neighbor who has a key to our unit, but the door only locks from the outside. How will Accurate be able to lock up my unit when the fumigation is completed? I will not have the key my neighbor left, because the door would need to be locked afterwards, from the outside. Please advise. My cell is 480-236-8332.
    Thanks

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Robert. In your case, we recommend placing your key in a lockbox of your own and sending us the code. This way your key can remain secured while also leaving the home locked up.
