I don’t know if my question made it onto the board, so I will post it again. I have a question regarding garages–we have a detached and an attached garage. The detached garage is only accessible via the remote–will you need to get into the garage to fumigate? If so, the opener is on the table to the right of the front entrance. I also need to know whether you will be closing the garage–I am not returning to my home until the weekend, so I need to know that the garage door will be closed.
Hi Katherine. Yes, we will be needing garage access. A spare clicker is fine or you can choose to leave the liftgate manually unlocked. We will be closing the garages after the first inspection and open them again for final safety inspection on the last day. Garages will be closed once the fumigation is completed.
I received a FINAL NOTICE *Past Due* regarding my Occupant Notice Form…
First, I have filled out the web page multipe times…
Second, I followed up by email.
Third… I have NOT received a copy from your office of any Occupant Notice Form despite multiple requests. Please forward to my email and notify me when it has been sent.
Hey Ozzie,
I made the second comment before the response to the initial question came thru… I will gladly stick around fumigation morning for the inspection and then lock it back up. Thank you.
I plan to leave it as is. There are no creatures or food- its too small.
I understand that. But we would still need inspect it by law. If the inspector cannot do so, it will be removed from the building.
Are the bags being delivered to all units? I asked for them but no response.
Yes, we’ll make sure to drop a bundle to each unit.
How many are in each bundle?
Hello, we spoke about safes last evening, and dependent upon size, they need to be emptied and left open.
My safe is very small; approximately 12″ by 12″ can I just leave it be?
Hey Perri. We would still have to inspect it by law. In your case, we recommend you take it with you as you vacate. If you prefer to leave it, please stick around long enough on fumigation day to have someone check before you lock it back up.
Where are the bags, where do we get them, when?
Hey Mark. Bags will be delivered to your doorstep on Friday the 14th.
