Hello Ozzie,
When I called SDG&E, they said that “Notice of Reentry” after fumigation is required to enter the building. Can you please confirm that your company will leave the notice on the front door after the completion of fumigation?
Yes, the inspector will be sure to leave a Notice of Reentry at the conclusion of the fumigation.
Hello Ozzie,
How many bags will be provided? How big (in gallon or liters) is the bag?
Each individual bag is approximately 11 gallons. That gove you roughly a total of 110 gallons worth of food storage (20 individual bags). The bags have been dropped off to your doorstep this past friday.
Hello Ozzie,
Are we supposed to leave the bagged food and medications inside?
what do we need to do about the gas?
Should we empty our pantry?
Our beds are going to be fumigated?
If it’s not termites, what is it exactly that is being fumigated?
How should we clean after we return?
Yes. Once double bagged, food and medication can stay in the house. We will make appointments for your gas service to be shut off and restored as needed. You just need to be home on the 9th of June between 12pm and 6pm to give SDG&E access to your unit.
It’s almost 5Pm and the bags are not here. Was it today (5/20/22) that they were going to be delivered?
Yes, we got to a it a bit later than we intended, but bags were delivered to your doorstep around 6pm.
Ozzie, Hi,
Unable to find the required form in the network.
My copy of the instructions does not show latest date to submit the form.
We have tenants in the property, however, we shall hand over the front door key in person.
We assume your P Mgr will be on site Thursday June 02 2022 at 12 pm to receive the key?
Hey Paul and Fari. The latest date to submit the form is the 18th at 5pm. I’ve included the direct link here for your convenience. https://app.hellosign.com/s/JxZFz7VB
There are a couple of options as far as turning in your spare key for the fumigation.
1. You can turn it in on the morning of the fumigation by leaving it under your doormat.
2. You can leave it in a lockbox and email me the code as soon as possible.
3. You can give me your electronic deadbolt code instead of a house key.
How may we hand over the spare key? Or should someone be present the day of to hand over the spare key
A representative will be on site collecting keys as the crews arrive. You are also welcome to provide a lockbox or garage code, or simply leave your spare key under the front doormat.
Hello
Should the air conditioning unit be turned off?
May I leave a key with a neighbor to restore gas service? How will they know who to call for entry?
Is it ok to return home after 12 noon or 6 p.m.?
Hi Sandra. Yes, it’s best to leave the AC off while you are gone. As far as getting your gas service restored, I suggest you call SDG&E to give them any special instructions you may have. Otherwise, be sure to have someone in your home from 12pm to 6pm to receive the technicians. You are welcome to come home at 12pm on the 30th.
