    Hi Ozzie,

2/6 units in our condo building are keyless. However, the other 4/6 units require a physical key to access the units. Will it be okay to leave the 4 keys in one lockbox near the front community gate (properly labeled)? Please let me know.

    Thanks!

Hey Monica. One box for 4 keys is fine as long as each key labeled accordingly. We’ll have crews return those 4 keys back to the lockbox after the fumigation is over.

Thank you! We will make sure to label them.

    1) I will be traveling during the time of fumigation, so Unit 1 (Monica/Ben Wamsley) will be facilitating access to my Unit 3 in my absence, including my burglar alarm. Their numbers are listed as my emergency contacts. I have been through this process before and and well aware of how everything works, so hopefully there will not be a need to access my unit.

    2) My car will be parked underground and should not be towed. I will also leave a car key with Monica/Ben if you should need to air it out after fumigation.

    3) I will keep my water heater on vacation mode as I will be away. Please let me know if this will affect the unlighting/lighting of the pilot lights.

    4) Please confirm that I will NOT have to unplug or cover electronic devices (computers, routers, security cameras, TVs, etc.)

    Thank you,
    Jason Meyers

Hi Jason. Per California law, access to each unit is mandatory to perform all necessary safety inspections and air quality checks. Your water heater is fine to stay on vacation mode. The gas company will be shutting of your gas supply causing your pilot lights to go out. We are making the appointment for them to turn it back on after the fumigation. You just have to be sure someone is home when they arrive. Further details are given in the prerecorded webinar on this website. Electronics can stay plugged in.
